CALL for Negotiated Salary Program Applications

Dear Colleagues:

We are now accepting applications for participation in the Negotiated Salary Program (NSP) for fiscal year 2025-26 (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026). This is the inaugural year of the NSP program as we transition from the trial program “NSTP” (see campus memo).

The NSP allows faculty to utilize external funding sources (such as eligible contract and grant or discretionary fund sources) to increase their total compensation by up to 30%. Faculty must apply annually to participate in the program and the negotiated salary is effective for a one-year period corresponding to the University fiscal cycle of July 1 through June 30.

Interested faculty may review the program guidelines and application instructions online at the Academic Personnel Office website. The deadline for submitting applications for participationis May 8.
